Bronchicum® is indicated for infants older than 6 months, however the use of Bronchicum® in infants younger than 6 months old has not been adequately studied and should not be used without first consulting your doctor.

Like all medications, Bronchicum® can have side effects:
Common Side Effects:
Hypersensitivity reactions may occur, such as cutaneous rash or nettle rash, as well as swelling in the face, mouth and/or throat associated with shortness of breath.
Very Rare Side Effects:
Also gastro-intestinal complaints may occur, such as nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea, and very rarely convulsions. -
- Keep out of reach of children.
- The expiry date is stated on the label and the folding carton.
- Do not store above 25°C.
- Once opened, Bronchicum® can be stored for up to 6 months at 25°C.

Bronchicum® is a herbal medicinal preparation containing plant-based active ingredients and hence is suitable for vegetarian use.[36]
